About the role
- Python DevOps Engineer - Experience: 510 Years Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Notice Period: Immediate Preferred - Role Overview - We are looking for a highly skilled Python DevOps Engineer with solid expertise in Python automation, PowerShell scripting, package management, and CI/CD implementation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining Python development ecosystems, artifact publishing, containerization, and monitoring solutions while driving automation across the software delivery lifecycle. - Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python and PowerShell. - Build and manage Python package distribution frameworks using Anaconda/Miniconda. - Create and maintain package specifications using pyproject.toml, conda-build, and meta.yaml. - Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Python applications using Jenkins and related DevOps tools. - Manage artifact publishing, versioning, and dependency management. - Develop and maintain Docker container images for Python-based applications. - Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes across environments. - Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency. - Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Prometheus and Grafana. - Troubleshoot issues related to builds, deployments, packaging, and production environments. - Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines. - Mandatory Skills - Python & - Automation - Strong hands-on experience in Python development and automation. - Expertise in PowerShell scripting. - Experience in developing reusable automation frameworks and tools. - Python Packaging & - Distribution - Strong knowledge of Anaconda/Miniconda ecosystems. - Experience with Conda package management. - Hands-on experience in: - pyproject.toml - conda-build - meta.yaml - Python packaging standards - Knowledge of dependency management and artifact versioning. - DevOps & - CI/CD - Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. - Hands-on expertise with Jenkins. - Experience with Git-based source control workflows. - Understanding of build, release, and deployment automation processes. - Containerization - Strong experience with Docker. - Understanding of container registry management and image lifecycle. - Monitoring & - Observability - Experience in monitoring and alerting using: - Prometheus - Grafana - Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and system health indicators. - Preferred Skills - Experience with Kubernetes. - Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of Nexus, Artifactory, or similar artifact repositories. - Experience with Linux administration and Shell scripting. - Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). - Understanding of DevSecOps practices. - Python DevOps Engineer - Experience: 510 Years Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Notice Period: Immediate Preferred - Role Overview - We are looking for a highly skilled Python DevOps Engineer with solid expertise in Python automation, PowerShell scripting, package management, and CI/CD implementation.
