As a System Administrator at Sigma Solve Ltd. in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers. - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user accounts. - Monitor system performance, ensure uptime and security. - Configure and troubleshoot network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Perform system backups, recovery operations, and patch management. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, server, and network-related issues. - Manage Microsoft 365 and email administration. - Implement security policies, antivirus solutions, and access controls. - Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Provide technical support to internal users and resolve IT-related issues. - Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations. Qualifications required for this role: - 25 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration. - Experience with Linux Server Administration. - Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. - Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN). - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V). - Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes. - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Additionally, it is preferred if you have: - Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. - Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration. - Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, CCNA, or Azure Administrator are a plus.
