About the role
If you are an eccentric robotic champ and are keen to make a difference in a unique way, then this opportunity is for you. You will be responsible for designing robotic systems, manufacturing, and assembling them. As a prime contributor, you will work on multiple projects and provide innovative ideas for new projects. Your role will involve complete manufacturing and assembly of prototypes for testing and internal use. Roles and Responsibilities: - Design analog and digital electronics systems including schematic and PCB layout. - Develop Firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers for sensor interfacing, motor actuation, control, and communication protocol development. - Ensure electronics design complies with safety and compliance standards for medical device development. - Manage research procurement and vendors. - Review electronics team designs. - Provide technical leadership to the electronics team. - Maintain quality and performance of electronics design. - Design for manufacturability considering local manufacturing constraints and in-house assembly skills. Skills and Experience: - Very good experience in embedded microcontroller programming (Arm/PIC/Atmega, etc.). - Proficiency in PCB design with the willingness to learn new software tools. - Analyze analog and digital circuits effectively. - Familiarity with UART, Optical encoder interface, SPI, I2C, ADC, and interrupt handling. - Knowledge in EMI/EMC/ESD is a plus. - Strong individual contributor and team player. - BE/ME in electrical/electronics. - Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
