As a Lead Analyst in Business Intelligence & Risk Reporting, you will play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your work will significantly enhance the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of credit risk data, facilitating faster and more confident decision-making across portfolio management, risk monitoring, and senior leadership reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Develop analytics-ready credit risk datasets that are reusable, scalable, curated, and well-structured for downstream analytics and reporting consumption. - Create robust SQL transformation logic by crafting production-grade SQL scripts that handle complex joins, aggregations, windowing, and performance optimization across large, multi-source datasets. - Build automated data preparation pipelines using Tableau Prep to establish repeatable data transformation workflows, minimizing manual intervention, and reducing operational risk. - Establish reusable data assets and datasets in the form of common, documented data layers and views that can be leveraged across various analytics, reporting, and ad-hoc use cases. - Provide Python-based analytics support through the creation of scripts for data wrangling, exploratory analysis, validation, and automation of recurring analytical tasks. - Document data lineage and artifacts clearly, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, assumptions, and data dependencies. - Identify and resolve data anomalies in a timely manner through issue resolution and root-cause analysis, ensuring clear explanations are shared with stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of credit risk data and the banking domain. - Proficiency in data validation, reconciliation, and control processes. - Ability to interpret portfolio movements, variances, and anomalies using data. - Experience with managing multiple upstream data sources and resolving data inconsistencies. - Familiarity with data lineage, metadata, and transformation logic. - Collaboration skills with stakeholders from risk, analytics, finance, and technology teams. - Structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities. - Proficient documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and big-picture context.
