Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

Role Overview: Join SimCorp as a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform Product Development team, where you will contribute your expertise as a full stack engineer, working with front and backend technologies and the Azure cloud ecosystem. Your role will involve a blend of practical engineering, architectural thinking, and leadership to ensure both immediate delivery and long-term sustainability. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and other team members in a culturally diverse, English-speaking, and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Apply your skills throughout the development lifecycle, including reviewing user stories, development, design, code reviews, and writing automated tests. - Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical insights. - Establish and enhance engineering excellence within your team, develop new functionalities, manage quality assurance, refactor existing code, and research tools and frameworks for future innovations. - Work within your scrum team to achieve the definition of done within each sprint. Qualifications Required: - Essential: - Over 3 years of practical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, Angular framework, and Node.js. - Over 2 years of experience with .NET technologies, focusing on C# and Microsoft .Net. - Familiarity with front-end build tools, REST APIs, state management, and browser performance tuning. - Knowledge of design patterns, cloud services on Azure, software development practices, CI/CD, DevOps principles, software testing tools and methodologies, and Git. - Desirable: - Experience in writing VS Code extensions or Electron-based applications, database experience, and working in the FinTech industry. - Personal Skills: - Experience in an international setting, proactive and reliable approach, positive mindset, team player, and emphasis on creating an enjoyable working environment.
