About the role
As a Controls Engineer - VCU at Simpleenergy in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing algorithms related to drivability on the vehicle level. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing VCU algorithms such as regenerative braking algorithms, drivability-mode algorithms, and range improvement algorithms. - Working on algorithms related to IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). - Building 1-D vehicle models for two-wheelers. - Proficiency in Python, MATLAB scripting, or any other scripting languages. - Detailed knowledge of the C language and handling communication with the firmware team for all algorithms in VCU. - In-depth understanding of CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART communication protocols. - Ability to debug vehicle-level issues using CAN traces. - Analytical understanding of data as a population is a plus. Qualifications required for this role include a B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, Robotics, or any related engineering fields. Key skills needed for this position are C programming, scripting, building algorithms, and effective communication.
