Trainee Application Deployment Engineer

Job Description Designation: Trainee Application Deployment Engineer Job Function: Deployment Work Base Location: Pune, India About this Role: (Details about day-to-day Activities, Project details in the public domain, and Technology stack they will be working on) We are looking for a fresher who has a strong interest in Build, Release, and Cloud Infrastructure Automation. You will own end-to-end CI/CD pipeline configuration and support tasks within Azure DevOps. This role will also require you to have a product mindset where you will be working with various stakeholders across QA, and Development to build and maintain scalable, automated pipelines that fulfil deployment and release requirements. Key Result Areas: (Details about actual on ground technical work aspects, Technical Competencies, key responsibilities in this role, results expected, etc.) Configure and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Build & Release) for .NET applications and Microsoft SQL database deployments. Collaborate with Development and QA teams to integrate source control, build, and release workflows in Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines. Provide a high level of technical support to off-shore and on-shore teams on pipeline and release issues. Collaborate with the IT team to perform pipeline health monitoring, preventive maintenance, and automation job upkeep. Execute daily build/release tasks, monitor automated pipelines, and track work items in Azure Boards. Excellent written and verbal communication. Aptitude to learn quickly and perform well under pressure. Ability to work independently yet within company guidelines. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional maturity Must be open to flexible schedules/hours. Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps Services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and CI/CD concepts. Knowledge of IP Networks and DNS (Ethernet IP, Network TCP/IP Ports, Domain Names, etc.), and familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Any experience with scripting (PowerShell/Bash/YAML) or exposure to Microsoft Azure fundamentals would be a plus. Behavioural Competencies: Self-confident self-starter proactive in setting and meeting goals, with limited supervision Good verbal & written communication skills Flexible with rotational and hybrid shifts Additional/Good to Have Skills: (Skills, Certifications, Courses, etc.) Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving, CI-CD, Microsoft Azure, containerization basics (Docker/Kubernetes), and complexity analysis. Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) certification is a plus.
