About the role
Job Summary – L1/L2 The DevOps Engineer L1/L2 supports daily DevOps activities including deployment tasks, CI/CD execution, AWS resource handling, Linux operations, and monitoring. Strong fundamentals in Linux, AWS, Jenkins, and Shell scripting are required. Key Responsibilities (L1/L2) AWS Cloud – Mandatory Manage AWS compute & storage: EC2, S3, ECS Monitor resources using CloudWatch Assist in load balancer configuration (ALB/ELB) Support basic networking tasks (Security Groups, VPC basics) CI/CD Create & maintain basic Jenkins pipelines Resolve build and deployment issues Automation Write Shell scripts for routine tasks (mandatory) Linux Basic Linux administration & troubleshooting Manage logs, crons, processes Monitoring Configure CloudWatch dashboards & alarms Assist with log monitoring Containers Deploy containers on ECS Basic Docker operations Documentation Maintain SOPs, deployment notes & runbooks Required Skills (L1) Mandatory Linux AWS: EC2, S3, ECS, CloudWatch Jenkins Shell scripting Basic networking basics Good to Have Basic Terraform knowledge Python basics Prometheus/Grafana exposure API Gateway basics
