OpenStack Architect

We re seeking a visionary Cloud Migration & Cloud Architect with deep expertise in OpenStack to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives. This role blends strategic planning, hands-on architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to design and execute seamless cloud migrations primarily leveraging OpenStack and hybrid cloud environments. Skills & Expertise 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and migration 3+ years of hands-on OpenStack deployment and operations experience Strong understanding of OpenStack components: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, Horizon, Swift Proficiency in automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Heat Experience in container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Excellent communication and documentation skills Key Areas of Responsibility Lead enterprise cloud migration projects from assessment to optimization Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using OpenStack and complementary technologies such as Kubernetes, Ceph, and Ansible Design hybrid/multi-cloud architectures integrating OpenStack with AWS, Azure, or GCP Develop automation scripts, IaC templates, and migration playbooks Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infra teams for compliance & performance Conduct gap analysis and cloud readiness assessments Provide mentorship and leadership to engineering teams Stay updated with OpenStack releases and contribute to platform enhancements Employment Type: Full Time Educational Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred certifications include: Red Hat OpenStack, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Kubernetes, or other cloud architecture certifications.
