About the role
Job Description CCTechs Digital Transformation Team partners with global AEC and manufacturing customers to modernize engineering workflows through advanced CAD/CAE automation, PLM integrations, and BIM-enabled digital twins. We are seeking high-energy Interns who can combine domain expertise with software-development skills to help build the next generation of engineering-automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop automation scripts and plug-ins for leading CAD/BIM tools such as Solid Works, Inventor, Revit, and AutoCAD. Prototype web or desktop applications to visualize and manage engineering data using up-to-date technology stacks (Python/Flask, Node.js, .NET, or similar). Integrate design data with PLM systems (Autodesk Fusion and others) using REST/GraphQL APIs. Build or enhance BIM workflows including model validation, clash detection, IFC conversions, and quantity take-offs. Collaborate with solution architects to translate client requirements into technical user stories and proof-of-concepts (POCs). Create concise documentation and demo videos to support knowledge transfer to client teams. Must-Have Skills & Knowledge: Hands-on experience with at least one CAD or BIM platform (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Revit, Civil 3D). Proficiency in one programming language relevant to engineering automation (Python, C#, C++, or Java Script/Type Script). Solid understanding of data structures, OOP, and basic design patterns . Familiarity with version control (Git) and cooperative development workflows.
