As a Service Operations Engineer III at Sinch, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the core MMS messaging platform. Your role will involve managing daily MMS tasks, optimizing message routing, and ensuring the high availability, scalability, and reliability of MMS services. You will collaborate with vendors, carrier operations, and internal teams to troubleshoot complex issues and roll out new messaging features and services. Your strong background in provisioning, troubleshooting, programming, deployment, testing, and experience in AI technologies will be crucial for this position. Additionally, you must be flexible to work across different time zones to collaborate with stakeholders in the AU and US regions. Key Responsibilities: - Handle MMS Operations: - Provisioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of MMS services. - Interface Management: - Work extensively with MM7 and MM4 interfaces for seamless communication and issue resolution. - Provide technical expertise: - Utilize programming skills to automate tasks, improve system efficiency, and develop new features. - AI Integration: - Contribute to the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions within the MMS platform. - Stakeholder Collaboration: - Liaise with stakeholders in the AU and US regions, requiring flexibility to work around the clock. Qualification Required: - Protocols: Deep expertise in MM7 and MM4 interfaces. - MMS Architecture: Deep understanding of MMSC components. - Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs. - Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. - Programming & Databases: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting. - Systems: Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments. - Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with global teams. - Proactivity: Self-motivated and capable of working independently in fast-paced environments. - Flexibility: Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends if required.
