Job Description – Reltio MDM Architect Position Title Reltio MDM Architect Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Reltio MDM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-level Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Reltio MDM, Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical data platforms, AWS and Snowflake architectures, and global data governance frameworks. This role will be responsible for defining scalable MDM architecture, global data models, integration strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities MDM Architecture & Strategy Define and lead the enterprise-wide Reltio MDM architecture aligned with organizational data strategy and business objectives. Develop and govern Core versus Regional tenant strategies across multiple geographies, including the US, Rest of World (RoW), and China. Design and maintain global data models covering Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), Sites, Investigators, and Products. Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for master data management initiatives. Match & Survivorship Management Architect and implement match, merge, and survivorship strategies within Reltio. Configure deterministic and probabilistic matching rules to improve data quality and entity resolution. Design survivorship rules and workflows to ensure accurate and trusted master data records. Manage and optimize Data Change Request (DCR) workflows. Reference Data Management & Integrations Lead the implementation and governance of Reference Data Management (RDM). Design and integrate Search Before Create (SBC) capabilities and Universal Customer Identifier (UCI/GUPRI) solutions. Define inbound and outbound data architecture and integration patterns. Cloud Data Architecture Design scalable data integration architectures leveraging AWS services, including: AWS Glue AWS Lambda Amazon SQS AWS Step Functions Amazon S3 Architect Snowflake-based data platforms, including staging environments and outbound publishing frameworks. Ensure seamless integration between Reltio, AWS, Snowflake, and downstream systems. DevOps & Deployment Define and implement CI/CD architecture utilizing GitLab and Terraform. Establish automated deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management practices. Support infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native deployment methodologies. Compliance & Governance Ensure GxP validation readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain compliance with CSV (Computer System Validation), 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, ERES, and auditability requirements. Collaborate closely with Security, Privacy, and Validation teams to implement and monitor SRA controls. Support data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to enterprise data standards. Solution Leadership Lead architecture reviews and approve solution designs, technical documentation, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of global MDM programs. Required Skills & Experience 10–12+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM). Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Reltio MDM. Strong experience working within Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical data environments. Deep expertise in: Reltio L3 Configuration Deterministic and Probabilistic Match Rules Survivorship Strategies Data Change Request (DCR) Workflows Reference Data Management (RDM) Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake architecture. Strong knowledge of: GxP Computer System Validation (CSV) 21 CFR Part 11 GDPR ERES compliance requirements Experience leading large-scale global and highly regulated programs. Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, cloud architecture, and integration frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organizations. Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, Reltio, or cloud technologies are preferred. Experience working in global, matrixed, and regulated enterprise environments.
