About the role
As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production processes, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical support to production teams during daily manufacturing activities. - Monitoring production processes to identify opportunities for process improvements. - Troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues to minimize downtime. - Supporting production planning and execution to meet delivery schedules. - Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. - Coordinating with maintenance teams to address equipment breakdowns and recurring issues. - Assisting in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). In addition to the above key responsibilities, you will also be expected to: - Analyze production performance and identify bottlenecks. - Recommend and implement productivity improvement initiatives. - Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities. - Monitor process parameters and maintain production efficiency standards. - Support automation and process optimization projects when required. You should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Support, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or related roles. - Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, fabrication, or industrial production environments. - Knowledge of production processes, troubleshooting techniques, and quality systems.
