Linux Technical Consultant Location: Pune, India Experience: 612 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Linux Virtualization & Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration, virtualization technologies, storage, networking, and infrastructure solutioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments while delivering high-quality technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Linux-based infrastructure environments. Administer and troubleshoot virtualization platforms using KVM, libvirt, and virsh. Support virtual machine provisioning, migration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management. Work with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and NFS. Configure and troubleshoot networking components including TCP/IP, VLANs, NIC Bonding, and routing concepts. Manage Linux services, kernel configurations, systemd, filesystems, and LVM. Support clustering technologies and ensure high availability of critical systems. Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate infrastructure solutions. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable enterprise solutions. Ensure infrastructure security, performance, and operational excellence. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with KVM Virtualization Expertise in libvirt and virsh VMware fundamentals and VM migration strategies Solid Linux/Unix administration Linux Kernel and systemd administration Filesystems and Logical Volume Manager (LVM) Linux clustering technologies Enterprise infrastructure (Compute, Storage & Networking) SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and NFS TCP/IP networking VLANs and NIC Bonding Infrastructure security best practices Root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting Solution design and customer requirement analysis Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant Linux or virtualization certifications are an added advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in enterprise production environments. .
