About the role
This position involves being accountable for the Production IT applications Architecture at the Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly known as Aurangabad) plant. Your responsibility includes overseeing, enhancing, and upgrading IT services. Staying informed about the latest trends and technologies to identify opportunities for software, hardware, or services that can enhance business processes is crucial. You will be tasked with creating system architecture and designs, conducting risk analysis, and devising mitigation plans for new changes in the production IT domain. Collaboration with global support teams, stakeholders, vendors, and internal plant teams is essential to ensure successful implementation of changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing action plans, updating system change information, creating change documents, and closing changes in the tool. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing, enhancing, and upgrading IT services for Production IT applications Architecture at Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant. - Identifying opportunities for software, hardware, or services to enhance business processes. - Creating system architecture and designs, conducting risk analysis, and devising mitigation plans for new changes. - Collaborating with global support teams, stakeholders, vendors, and internal plant teams for successful implementation of changes. - Preparing action plans, updating system change information, creating change documents, and closing changes in the tool. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in IT applications architecture, system architecture creation, and technical architecture design. - Experience in risk management, project planning, project scheduling, and project change management. - Technical assessments of internal and external platforms and tools. - Proficiency in IT security deployment, adherence to technical standards, and service delivery following ITIL/ITSM practices. - Proficiency in database management (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DB2), servers, and IT networks. The ideal candidate for this role should have 10 to 14 years of relevant experience and will be employed on a permanent basis.
