Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Position Title: AI Software Engineer Location: Corporate Office, Gurugram (with frequent visits to sites and the factory) Experience: 1-3 years, or exceptional fresh graduates who have already shipped real software Managing: Individual contributor - you own products end to end, not people. This is a builder role, not a management role Role Summary SKV needs a builder who can walk onto a factory floor, watch a store-keeper struggle with a broken process, and have working software in that person's hands within the week. This is the role that builds the software brain of a construction company. Key Responsibilities - Find the Problem: Go to where the work happens - the factory, the warehouse, a project site, the finance desk - and find the process that is slow, manual, error-prone, or invisible. - PM the Solution: Turn a messy real-world problem into a crisp, buildable spec. Decide what to build, what to leave out, and what done looks like. - Build & Ship: Write the code and put it in production. Our stack: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres, Python/FastAPI for computer-vision and data services, and LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini). - Own It in Production: Watch real usage, catch what breaks, and fix it fast. Qualifications & Experience - Tier-1 engineering background strongly preferred (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT). - Genuine fluency in at least one modern stack - TypeScript/React or Python. - Comfort working with LLM APIs and agentic AI tools. - Strong product instinct. - High agency, low ego.
