About the role
As a Senior IT & Network Security Engineer, your primary focus will be on strengthening and securing enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and network architecture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity controls across various environments. Your role will also involve monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and alerts. Additionally, you will act as an escalation point for complex security issues, design secure network architectures, and implement security policies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls for enterprise IT, cloud, and network environments - Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and alerts - Act as an escalation point for complex security, infrastructure, and network-related issues - Design and manage secure network architectures including VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, VLANs, and access controls - Implement security policies, standards, hardening practices, and compliance controls - Perform vulnerability management, patch management, and system hardening - Manage Azure and AWS cloud environments - Administer Microsoft security solutions including Azure Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and Defender for Identity - Manage identity and access security using Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC - Administer endpoint/device management solutions including Intune, Jamf, and ManageEngine Endpoint Central - Support secure onboarding/offboarding of users, devices, and access privileges - Maintain security documentation, SOPs, incident reports, configurations, and runbooks - Support audits, compliance reviews, and security risk assessments - Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to embed security best practices - Participate in 24x7 on-call support for critical security and infrastructure incidents - Support ITIL-aligned Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes - Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security, Infrastructure Security, or IT Security - Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Routing & Switching, Firewalls, and Network segmentation - Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools and practices - Experience securing Azure and AWS cloud environments - Experience with Microsoft security stack and SIEM solutions - Hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Suite, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure AD, MFA & RBAC - Experience with endpoint/device management tools like Intune, Jamf, and ManageEngine Endpoint Central - Experience handling L2/L3 security incidents and escalations - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Excellent documentation and communication abilities - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Please note that this role requires night shift availability and the work location is in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
