About the role
Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC control systems. Design, develop, and configure SCADA and HMI applications. Perform I/O testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test). Execute on-site commissioning of automation systems. Carry out installation, startup, testing, and system integration. Diagnose and resolve PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and field instrument issues. Provide preventive and breakdown maintenance support at customer sites. Attend service calls and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Coordinate with customers, project teams, and electrical/instrumentation engineers during project execution. Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, and service reports. Provide customer training on system operation and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during site work. Support modifications, upgrades, and optimization of existing automation systems. Required Skills Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, or similar). Experience in SCADA/HMI development (WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, Citect, or similar). Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, and MQTT. Familiarity with VFDs, servo drives, instrumentation, and industrial networking. Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control panel schematics. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel extensively for commissioning and service assignments.
