VMware Engineer

Responsibilities Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Ansible to automate operational tasks. Support and manage virtual desktop hosting environments, including VMware Horizon products. Use PowerShell/CLI to assist in automation and operational activities. Work on automation solutions to streamline and optimize operational tasks. Utilize Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting where required. Build or support web development tools when needed to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with teams working on cloud technologies. Troubleshoot issues and support automated processes and virtual environments. Required Skills The candidate must possess strong scripting skills Python and Ansible are mandatory. PowerShell/CLI knowledge is good to have. The candidate should have a fair understanding of virtual desktop hosting environments, VMware Horizon products, and cloud technologies. Along with Python, Ansible, PowerShell/CLI, if the candidate has Splunk and web development skills that is an advantage. Basically, we need a strong candidate with programming skill sets who can automate the operational tasks.
