About the role As a Front-End Developer , you'll focus on building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for web and mobile applications. You'll translate designs into reusable components, ensure accessibility and performance, and integrate with APIs to deliver data-rich, reliable experiences that users love. Responsibilities Build fast, accessible UIs for web (and mobile) using TypeScript + React/Next.js (React Native optional) Translate designs into reusable components; own state management (RTK/Query, Zustand, or equivalent) Integrate with APIs to deliver analytics and reporting experiences for data-heavy dashboards Drive frontend testing (React Testing Library) and optimize performance against Core Web Vitals Contribute to design systems & component libraries; ship clean styles with CSS-in-JS/Tailwind Collaborate closely with Product/Design, document clearly, and bring user empathy and attention to detail in async updates and standups Requirements 4–7 years of professional experience in product UI roles, building modern web applications TypeScript + React (and/or React Native): 4+ years developing high-quality interfaces Next.js: 3+ years delivering SSR/SSG and modern routing State management (RTK/Query, Zustand, or equivalent): 3+ years owning complex client state Testing with React Testing Library (and Jest): 2+ years ensuring reliability and maintainability Performance & Core Web Vitals: 2+ years profiling and optimizing for real-world performance Design systems & component libraries; CSS-in-JS or Tailwind: 2+ years building scalable, themed UI Nice to have Experience with data-heavy dashboards and complex interaction design Strong accessibility practices (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA) Background in healthcare or enterprise UX Benefits Fixed Shifts: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST (Summer) | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST (Winter) No Weekend Work: Real work-life balance, not just words Day 1 Benefits: Laptop and full medical insurance provided Support That Matters: Mentorship, community, and forums where ideas are shared True Belonging: A long-term career where your contributions are valued At Smart Working, you'll never be just another remote hire.
