About the role
As an experienced Java developer, you will be responsible for developing and working on web applications using Java / Servlets/J2EE technologies and relevant frameworks. You should be comfortable with both legacy architecture and microservices, having worked on JSP, .js/Jquery/React, and implemented responsive UI standards in multiple projects. Experience with enterprise clients is a plus. You will need to understand the J2EE web application architecture and be involved in code rewrites, peer code reviews, and leading a high-performance team for qualitative delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and work on web applications using Java / Servlets/J2EE technologies and relevant frameworks - Implement responsive UI standards and work on JSP, .js/Jquery/React - Understand and work on both legacy architecture and microservices - Peer review code, design, and test automation - Lead a high-performance team for qualitative delivery and support - Stay updated with the latest industry technologies and methodologies Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of industry experience in Java - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming - Experience in front-end development with HTML/CSS, JS, and libraries like Angular, Jquery, and React - Proficiency in JSP / Servlets development and microservices - Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot - Familiarity with databases like MySql, Oracle, and source controls like Git, TFS - Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Go, Junit, and Mocking frameworks - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Experience working with Agile methodologies - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written At SmarTek21, founded in 2006, we are an innovative digital transformation leader dedicated to empowering organizations through design-led, data-centric solutions.
