About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer with 0 -5 years of experience to support the design and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial structures in accordance with US building codes and standards. The candidate will assist senior engineers in structural calculations, drafting, modeling, and site coordination. Role & responsibilities Assist in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel and wood structures. Prepare design of reinforced concrete slabs, beams, columns, shear walls, and foundations Prepare or assist with structural calculations, design reports, construction documents and framing layouts for commercial and residential projects Develop structural models and perform load analysis Review shop drawings and RFIs. Ensure designs/Drawing comply with applicable US codes and standards. Prepare engineering markups and redline revisions Participate in project meetings and technical discussions. Assist in drift, deflection, and vibration checks. Use software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS to create and modify engineering drawings. Support preparation of BOQs, estimates, and technical documentation Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in civil or masters degree in civil Structural Engineering. Have experience in structural analysis, design, and detailing. Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS) Strong understanding of building codes and regulations. experience with a variety of structural materials e.g., steel, concrete/RCC, wood).
