About the role
As a Product Design Intern (UX) at Snapdeal, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to enhance customer and seller experiences on Snapdeal platforms through user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Leveraging AI-assisted design tools, you will play a crucial role in accelerating design exploration and validation. Key Responsibilities: - Support the end-to-end design process from problem discovery to solution validation. - Conduct user research, competitor benchmarking, and usability testing. - Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to solve complex user problems. - Contribute to and maintain design systems for consistency across products. - Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for experience improvements. - Leverage AI-powered design and research tools to enhance design efficiency and experimentation. - Present design rationale, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - Final-year students and recent graduates are preferred. - A portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving ability, and UX/Product Design projects is mandatory. In this role, you should possess strong product thinking, a user-centric mindset, and proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems. Your ability to convert ambiguous problems into structured design solutions, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, will be crucial. Additionally, your curiosity, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn will be valuable assets in a fast-paced environment. Your passion for solving real customer problems, willingness to work with data and customer insights, and excitement about the intersection of AI, design, and product innovation will make you a great fit for this role.
