As an experienced Azure Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for leading architecture assessments, cloud optimization initiatives, and Well-Architected Reviews for enterprise Azure environments. Your role will involve working directly with engineering teams to evaluate cloud environments across cost, reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence. You will own recommendations from end-to-end and collaborate with customers through implementation and remediation. Additionally, you will contribute to platform engineering, tooling, technical standards, and mentor engineers across the Azure practice. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Azure architecture assessments and Well-Architected Reviews. - Evaluate customer environments focusing on security, reliability, performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence. - Present findings and recommendations to customer stakeholders and provide support during implementation. - Validate remediations and drive technical outcomes. - Define and enhance Azure best practices, review methodologies, and internal tooling. - Design scalable Azure architectures for multi-subscription and multi-tenant environments. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Azure engineers. - Collaborate with engineering leadership on technical strategy, hiring, and capability building. - Contribute hands-on to cloud automation, platform engineering, and tooling development. Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of Cloud, Platform, or Backend Engineering experience. - Strong customer-facing consulting, architecture review, or technical delivery experience. - Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including: - Azure Resource Manager (ARM) - Azure Resource Graph - Azure REST APIs - Microsoft Entra ID - RBAC and Managed Identities - Azure Monitor - Log Analytics and KQL - Azure Activity Logs - Azure Cost Management - Reservations and Savings Plans - Azure Networking, Storage, Compute, and Key Vault - Strong programming experience with Python. - Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates. - Strong troubleshooting and production operations experience. Preferred Skills: - FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience. - Multi-tenant and multi-subscription Azure environments. - MCA / EA Billing knowledge. - AKS and Kubernetes. - Exposure to AWS or GCP. - Azure Certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-204). - Workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Argo Workflows, or Temporal. - Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams. In this role, you are expected to demonstrate strong technical ownership and a problem-solving mindset. Your ability to influence customer technical decisions, deep Azure architecture expertise, and a builder mindset focused on automation and reusable solutions are crucial. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and willing to work on-site from Noida.
