QA Tester

You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance framework of the leading SAAS platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the QA processes to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. - Develop testing strategies for test automation. - Utilize manual and automated testing methods, particularly with Selenium and Python. - Translate functional requirements into comprehensive test cases. - Develop and maintain test cases and automation test scripts. - Utilize bug tracking tools effectively to report bugs. - Implement software testing methodologies, including Agile QA methodology and traditional SDLC. - Manage defect management processes and tools. - Apply significant test automation experience for web-based platforms, preferably in the e-commerce domain. - Work collaboratively with QA, development teams, and stakeholders for project execution. - Identify, analyze, and proactively raise issues or concerns to ensure software quality. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or a related field from a recognized university in India. Masters degree in a relevant field is a plus. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a portion of this experience in an application development role before transitioning to QA. - Solid foundation in QA methodologies and experience in leading QA processes in a SAAS platform environment.
