About the role
As a Frontend / UX Engineer at SoapBox, your primary focus will be to ensure that the platform is user-friendly, intuitive, and efficient for professionals operating in high-stakes, regulated environments. You will play a crucial role in combining user empathy with enterprise discipline to enhance the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities: - User Experience Design: - Design workflows that are optimized for accuracy and efficiency - Reduce cognitive load for complex processes - Collaborate with product and domain leaders to align design strategies - UI Implementation: - Implement UI patterns utilizing APEX UI components - Customize templates while upholding consistency in design - Ensure adherence to accessibility and usability standards - User Validation: - Actively participate in usability testing and feedback loops - Iterate designs based on real-world usage feedback for continuous improvement Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in enterprise UI/UX design - Strong understanding of workflow-heavy applications - Proficiency in working with APEX or similar platforms - Ability to strike a balance between simplicity and complexity in design Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in designing regulated or safety-critical systems - Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG - Background in working with design systems In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will be assessed on the following parameters: - Clarity of design thinking - Understanding of regulated workflows - Attention to detail - Ability to justify and defend UX decisions Join SoapBox as a Frontend / UX Engineer and contribute to creating a seamless user experience for professionals in regulated environments.
