About the role
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical support for cloud-based applications, services, and environments. - Troubleshooting issues related to compute, storage, networking, and security in GCP. - Managing and supporting GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and Kubernetes. - Handling incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution within SLA timelines. - Monitoring system performance, availability, and cloud resource utilization. - Configuring and maintaining virtual machines, load balancers, and cloud networking components. - Implementing identity and access management (IAM) policies and security best practices. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. - Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security principles. - Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
