About the role
JD for Technical Lead (Test Automation)
Skill set & Experience
· Overall, 9+ Years of QA experience and at least 5+ years in automation tools · Proficient in Automation testing with automation tools using languages Python / Java · Design and develop automation framework based on project needs · Extensive experience in Test Management Tool like ALM, Zephyr Scale, X-ray etc. · Experience in test planning, test design, and test execution of highly complex systems · Hands-on automation for end-to-end testing including back-end or front-end applications · Collaborate with Developers, Business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA · Deep understanding of testing lifecycle & defect lifecycle · Hands on experience writing in SQL Queries · Experience working in Scrum team · Communicate with Business, tech teams to understand functionalities · Good Knowledge of Agile Framework and ceremonies · Back Office Systems experience
Responsibilities
· Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data · Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed · Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation · Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date · Identify and report to product team questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies · Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of testing framework · Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process · Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development
