Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

Lead Mobile Engineer (Flutter) Experience Level: Senior / Lead About the Role We are seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in Flutter and Dart to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our cross-platform mobile applications. You will own the mobile technical roadmap, transforming business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready solutions. While your primary focus will be building high-quality Flutter applications for iOS and Android, experience with Swift/SwiftUI, Node.js/Express, and cloud infrastructure will enable you to collaborate effectively across the broader engineering ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Flutter Architecture & Development Design and develop scalable, modular mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. Collaborate with design teams to translate wireframes into responsive, high-performance UI components. Integrate mobile applications with backend services through REST APIs, WebSockets, and cloud-based systems. Leverage Swift/SwiftUI for native iOS integrations and custom platform channels when required. Build rapid proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate product ideas and technical feasibility. Technical Leadership & Delivery Lead the full product lifecycle, from planning and architecture to deployment and production support. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and establish best practices to reduce technical debt. Define technical standards, documentation, and Git/GitLab-based development workflows. Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely product delivery. Mentor engineers and drive technical decision-making across the team. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Competencies Flutter & Dart (Expert): Strong knowledge of state management, custom painting, layout constraints, and plugin development. Swift & SwiftUI: Experience with native iOS development and Flutter-native integrations. Backend Integration: Proficiency with Node.js, ExpressJS, REST APIs, and WebSocket communication. Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Serverless components) to support mobile solutions. Version Control: Strong expertise in Git and GitLab.
