About the role
Role: ServiceNow Developer / Consultant Asset Management / HAM / CMDB Key Responsibilities We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Developer to support delivery of the ServiceNow Asset Management Foundation initiative. The role requires strong technical experience in ServiceNow development, especially in Asset Management / HAM / SAM / HAM Pro, CMDB-aligned data structures, configuration, scripting, and data migration. The developer should be able to convert business and operational requirements into scalable, supportable ServiceNow solutions with a strong focus on data integrity, maintainability, and enterprise platform standards. Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Asset Management / HAM / HAM Pro, CMDB-related data structures, and platform configuration, with the ability to design and implement scalable technical solutions. Experience developing and configuring tables, forms, business rules, client scripts, script includes, import sets, transform maps, reconciliation logic, and validation controls to support asset lifecycle management and data quality. Experience supporting greenfield migration initiatives, including source-to-target mapping, data load design, cleansing, reconciliation, exception handling, and test validation for asset records. Ability to build operational dashboards, reports, and technical documentation, and to collaborate with platform owners, operations teams, and business stakeholders during design, testing, and deployment. Good understanding of supportable design principles, duplicate prevention, serial-number-based controls, and enterprise data integrity requirements. Good to have certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM), and other relevant ServiceNow platform or application certifications. Stakeholder Management: Gather requirements from business and technical stakeholders. Lead workshops and solution design sessions. Create technical documentation, process documents, and operational procedures. Provide guidance and mentoring to ServiceNow administrators and developers.
