CAE Model Build Engineer

Position: Model Build Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Software : ANSA, Hypermesh Solvers: Ls-Dyna, Pamcrash, Abaqus Key Skills: Hypermesh, LS-Dyna Roles & Responsibilities Strong Model Build and meshing expertise for full vehicle and subsystem models, including: Body-in-White (BIW), Instrument Panel (IP), Console, Door Trims, Overhead Consoles, Headliners, Pillar Trims, Latches, and other interior/exterior components. Hands-on experience with plastic part features such as dog houses, heat stakes, snaps, clip towers, vibration welds, and ultrasonic welds. In-depth knowledge of kinematic joints, connectivity definitions, attachments, and their degrees of freedom (DOF) as per CAE requirements. Ability to maintain complex include structures, ensuring proper connectivity between includes, along with standard naming conventions, numbering systems, and model hierarchy. Proficient in handling intersection checks, penetration clearance, and overall model quality compliance. Experience in full vehicle integration and assembly for automotive programs. Clear understanding and hands-on application of OEM and Tier-1 CAE/model build standards, quality checklists, and delivery guidelines. Capable of working independently while coordinating with CAE analysts, lead engineers, and client teams to support timely and quality deliverables.
