Piping Structural Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a E3D Piping Structural Design Engineer position. Number of Openings- 8 The candidate is expected to work from office during normal office hours (no shift work) in five-day workweek. Educational Qualifications BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience Range- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience Mandatory Technical Skillset Expertise in using P&ID and Layout reading Hands-on experience in using Aveva E3D software Experience in 3D modelling and designing for piping, structural and equipment Knowledge of resolving clashes and updates in 3D models Sound fundamental knowledge of engineering principals. Experience in isometric and report extraction Good to have Technical Skills Experience in extracting piping deliverables from 3D models Experience in preparing 3D model snapshots with mark-ups and resolving engineering issues. Key Job Responsibilities Develop detailed Piping and structural designs based on client requirements. Piping planning based on P&ID and Clash-Free Routing in design software. Resolve model review tags Prepare 3D snapshots Update 3D models based on Client drawings and comment on drawings with respect to piping requirements. Communicate with Clients for requirement gathering and regular project updates. Be a team player and work well with a diverse team which may be spread all over the world through strong and clear communication. Research on how to implement various requirements and make informed decisions in a timely manner. Take active part in weekly review meetings and put forth ideas or solutions to problems.
