CAD Designer & Visualizer ### About Soham Designer House Soham Designer House is a premier multi-material design studio where innovation meets craftsmanship. If you are a creator who can see a concept in your mind and precisely map it into reality, you belong here. ### The Role We are looking for a highly creative CAD Designer & Visualizer who bridges the gap between raw imagination and technical execution. In this role, you won't just be drafting blueprints; you will be the visionary who conceptualizes how distinct materials interact, looks at the aesthetic impact, and builds the precise CAD models required for flawless production. ### Key Responsibilities * Visualize & Conceptualize: Transform loose briefs, sketches, and abstract ideas into striking visual concepts. * Multi-Material CAD Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings incorporating multiple materials (wood, metal, glass, etc.), keeping material tolerances and joins in mind. * Realistic Rendering: Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D renders that effectively communicate design intent to clients and internal teams. * Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with the workshop/production team to ensure CAD data translates seamlessly into the physical product. * Material Research: Stay updated on new materials, textures, and fabrication techniques to continuously push design boundaries. ### What We Are Looking For (Requirements) * The Dual DNA: You must be a strong Visualizer (creative eye, spatial awareness, proportions) AND a precise Designer (technical execution, structural logic). * Software Mastery: Proficiency in CAD and modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or Fusion 360) along with rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray, or Blender). * Material Intelligence: A solid understanding of how different materials behave, attach, and finish when combined. * Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative visualization and technical CAD proficiency (multi-material project examples are a huge plus). * Experience: 2+ years of experience in product design, furniture design, exhibition design, or a related multi-material field. ### What We Offer * A highly creative environment with the freedom to experiment with diverse materials. * The opportunity to see your digital designs physically manufactured under one roof. * Competitive compensation and a collaborative team culture. ### LinkedIn Optimization Tips for You: 1.
