About the role
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist at Caterpillar Inc., you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of received components and driving process improvement to reduce product defects. Your work directly impacts the compliance of products with manufacturing specifications and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Review supplier-provided data against drawing requirements to ensure the quality of received components. - Generate reports on supplier quality by monitoring defect rates and identifying areas for improvement. - Conduct supplier quality control audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality certifications. - Support suppliers in enhancing their performance through process enhancements and the development of quality assurance plans. Qualification Required: - Degree or equivalent experience desired.
