Product Manager - Operations

As a product manager - operations, you will own critical products and problem areas that sit at the heart of SolarSquare's supply chain and service operations. This is a hands-on role where product decisions directly affect execution predictability, turnaround times, cost efficiency, and on-ground experience. You will work closely with operations, engineering, design, and analytics teams to translate complex, real-world problems into scalable systems and workflows that enable rapid business growth. Responsibilities: Own one or more clearly defined business problems, products, or operational domainsend-to-end (e. g., order management system, field-force platform, inventory management).Improve operational efficiency by reducing manual effort, exceptions, and recurring escalations through better system design.Drive product discovery through close engagement with on-ground operations teams.Translate operational needs and constraints into clear product problem statements, requirements, and execution plans.Work with engineering and analytics to define success metrics, track impact, and iterate post-launch.Make trade-offs between speed, cost, and robustness while building solutions that scale reliably. Requirements: 2-3 years of product management experience, preferably in ops-heavy, workflow-driven, or internal tooling contexts.Strong problem-framing and structured thinking skills; comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete data.Ability to take ownership, make decisions, and drive outcomes in cross-functional environments.Systems mindset - able to understand how different parts of an operational flow interact and where leverage lies.Willingness to engage deeply with ground teams and operations stakeholders.Data-aware and outcome-driven, using data to inform prioritisation and decisions.Comfort working with engineers on PRDs, tradeoffs and execution; familiarity with analytics or SQL is helpful but not mandatory.Exposure to domains such as logistics, supply chain, installations, field services, manufacturing, or similar is a strong plus.
