About the role
As a Lead Electrical Design & Engineering professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the Electrical design & Engineering activities for MW scale Land-based Solar Power plant, Rooftop Solar Power plant, Battery Energy storage system, and Substation projects up to 220kV. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, project management, and installation teams to meet clients needs and internal deadlines effectively - Ensuring timely delivery of Engineering Drawings & Documents in alignment with project schedules - Performing accurate system sizing calculations and executing designs adhering to grid compliance and permitting requirements - Capable of multitasking and delivering multiple tasks on time - Estimating and planning man-hour requirements for projects - Gathering feedback from the market to contribute ideas for product improvement - Providing Technical Sales support by educating prospective customers about offerings and establishing trust on the technical front - Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks - Supporting and providing clarifications to the Site Execution team - Reviewing vendor evaluations and validation documents for technical specifications - Collaborating with Operations team for design specifications approval and cost optimization - Conducting risk and cost analysis of tenders and energy estimation risk analysis Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with working knowledge in Solar and Substation projects - Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Design and engineering - Technical Competency: - Ability to design land-based MW scale power plant and substation up to 220kV - Willingness for field visits and flexibility to perform project management duties if required - Extensive experience in Electrical project works - Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Office - Proficient in both written and oral English and Hindi Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects and meeting client expectations through efficient design and engineering practices.
