About the role
Position Overview: The Senior Project Engineer - LabVIEW is responsible for leading technical design, development, and delivery within an Agile teaM This role focuses on breaking down requirements, providing estimations, identifying technical risks, and creating solutions using LabVIEW The engineer will develop and debug code, design user interfaces, conduct reviews, and deliver high-quality products Additionally, the role involves client interactions, reporting project progress, and fostering strong business relationships Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Agile team to achieve project goals Analyze requirements, provide detailed estimations, and prepare project plans Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues Develop detailed designs and prototypes by exploring new concepts and approaches Write clean, high-quality LabVIEW code following established standards; develop, debug, and design user interfaces Participate in design, code, and usability reviews to ensure quality and consistency Conduct client demos and deliver high-quality outputs with comprehensive documentation Perform retrospectives and define actionable improvement plans Report project status, progress, and key developments to senior team members Participate in project meetings with management and cross-functional teams Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders Work closely with clients to establish and maintain strong business relationships Qualification: Proven LabVIEW Programming Experience of 2 - 5 years with Engineering Graduation Good understanding of LabVIEW State Machines, Design Patterns and LVOOPS Understanding of Test and Measurements, NI PXI based Instrumentation Experience with Configuration Management and source version control systems such as SVN, Perforce and Git Experience in TestStand/Python/NI Certifications on LabVIEW is a plus Proficiency in LabVIEW at the CLD/CLA level is preferred Good to have: Experience working with databases Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Exposure to Agile methodologies (e g, Scrum) Hands-on experience with hardware integration Exposure to Linux environments Experience using Node Js for large-scale projects
