About the role
As a NOC Engineer (Admin), your role involves monitoring, maintaining, and supporting cloud and infrastructure environments with a focus on AWS, Linux administration, database basics, and cloud operations. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this position: Key Responsibilities: - Monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments to ensure high availability. - Manage and troubleshoot AWS and Azure cloud resources. - Perform Linux server administration, including patching, user management, and system health checks. - Support Postgre SQL and SQL database operations, such as backups and basic query troubleshooting. - Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and escalation procedures. - Configure and monitor AWS storage services like S3 and EBS. - Maintain security best practices in AWS environments, including IAM policies and access controls. - Coordinate with application, network, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution. - Create and maintain operational documentation and SOPs. - Participate in shift rotations and provide 24x7 support when required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and system administration. - Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
