About the role
10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. Strong expertise in Classical ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, Module Pool Programming, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, BDC, LSMW, and Enhancement Framework. Experience with User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, Business Transaction Events (BTE), and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements. Strong knowledge of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, SQL Script, Code Pushdown techniques, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT/Eclipse). Experience in SAP S/4HANA technical development. Expertise in SAP Gateway, OData (V2/V4), RAP, and Fiori backend development. Strong SQL optimization and performance tuning skills using ST05, SAT, SQL Monitor, ATC, and Code Inspector. Integration Experience (Mandatory) The candidate should have hands-on experience with multiple SAP integration technologies, including: IDocs (Inbound, Outbound, ALE, Custom IDocs, Extension IDocs) BAPIs and Remote Function Calls (RFC, tRFC, qRFC, bgRFC) REST APIs and SOAP Web Services SAP Gateway and OData Services SAP PI/PO integrations SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite) Proxy Development (Inbound & Outbound) XML, JSON, XSLT, and File-based integrations (CSV, XML, Flat Files) SFTP and FTP integrations API integrations with third-party enterprise applications SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) SAP Cloud Connector SAP Event Mesh (preferred) Middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, TIBCO, or Azure Integration Services Integration with SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise applications Experience integrating SAP with banking systems, payment gateways, tax platforms, logistics providers, and external government/regulatory systems is highly desirable.
