About the role
Key Responsibilities Knowledge of EV Wire harness / Main harness / Battery cable / Multicore cable Review customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs Conduct product feasibility and risk analysis Prepare BOM, cost estimation, child part cost estimation Develop prototype wiring harness samples as per customer drawing Develop internal drawing / Crimping applicator skill Coordinate with tooling, purchase, and production teams and develop tool/Jig/Fixture/Testing board/Laying board Ensure compliance with customer specification of wires and automotive industry standards Knowledge and conduct APQP/PFD/PFMEA/control plan/ PQCT preparation Customer communication for technical clarification Support testing, validation, and product approval from customer Prepare Sample / Layout inspection / Testing Handle engineering change requests (ECR/ECN) Prepare work instructions and technical documentation Development with supplier for new child part and find out standard part Customer interaction time to time any query and feedback require Arrangement of Tool, Jigs, Fixture, Futura machine program, Applicator, Inspection Instruments.
