Production and Environment Support

At Least 4 years of Experience in Production and Environment Support Unix, Linux, Tomcat, websphere, JBOSS We need strong Java Technical engineer from Production background. Experience in Java Development as well as Support- Must Expertise in SQL queries. Strong in RDBMS concepts, Oracle DB and good knowledge of PL/SQL scripting. Strong experience in web servers. Experienced in Java, J2EE and Web Application Development. Prior production support experience is mandatory Good debugging and trouble shooting skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Very strong technical background in core java, XML, Spring and RESTful web services. Good knowledge in SQL queries and database fundamentals Any experience with Splunk, Apigee and ATG commerce will be an advantage. Exposure to Heap-dump/Thread-dump Analysis will be an advantage. Experience in Retail domain will be an advantage Strong in UNIX commands and shell scripting Supervises daily activities for production support to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems mitigation plans, ICA and RCA within service-level agreements. Instructs on day-to-day operations: business impacts, priorities and dependencies. Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all information entered into production scheduling and problem management systems. Ability to evaluate the rationale behind the use of technology infrastructure across various functions. Coaches the team on the roles and responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
