Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with AI ### Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong foundation in SAP development and a keen interest in integrating Artificial Intelligence capabilities within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ABAP programming, combined with an understanding of modern AI/ML tools and techniques, to design, develop, and optimize SAP solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation. ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within SAP systems - Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into SAP workflows and business processes - Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions - Perform code reviews, ensure coding best practices, and maintain technical documentation - Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP performance issues and bugs - Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance to junior developers - Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation and upgrade projects - Work with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and related cloud technologies as needed - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of SAP solutions ### Requirements / Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development including OOPs ABAP, BAPI, BADI, user exits, and enhancement frameworks - Experience with AI/ML integration within SAP or related enterprise platforms - Proficiency in SAP Fiori, UI5, and RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) is highly desirable - Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and HANA-optimized ABAP development - Familiarity with SAP BTP services, APIs, and cloud integration tools - Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or PP from a technical perspective - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment - Experience in Agile or SAP Activate project methodologies is a plus - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field ### About the Company Sophos Ltd is a technology-driven organization focused on delivering enterprise IT solutions and consulting services, with a strong emphasis on SAP implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
