About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, modern data platforms using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Your focus will be on building lakehouse and cloud data warehouse solutions to enable advanced analytics and drive best practices across data engineering, governance, and security. You will collaborate closely with data, BI, and business teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement modern data warehouse and lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric - Integrate enterprise data platforms with Power BI and other BI tools - Automate data pipelines and orchestration workflows - Perform data engineering and analytics using Azure services - Partner with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements - Define data standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices - Lead solutions modeling and data modeling (logical and physical) - Implement data governance, data quality, security, and compliance frameworks Qualifications Required: - 812+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing - Strong handson expertise with Azure Data Factory - Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms - Proven success designing enterprisescale data warehouse architectures - Handson experience with data migration using ADF, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse & Warehouse) - Advanced TSQL skills - Strong expertise in data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modeling) - Experience designing ETL / ELT pipelines - Knowledge of data warehouse performance optimization and tuning - Experience with Power BI or other BI tools (preferred) - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Additional Details: You should have a passion for building scalable, secure, and highquality data platforms.
