About the role
We are looking for a BI Developer / Data Engineer to support the build and enhancement of business intelligence dashboards and analytics capabilities. The resource will be working across two key initiatives: Completing the migration of portfolio monitoring dashboards from Tableau into a new AI enabled BI i.e. Lightdash, including loan-on-loan, sectoral, and borrower-level dashboards Enabling analysts to interrogate full structured borrower information from a single environment, including building Data Apps, sectoral/portfolio dashboards, Credit MI automation (replacing manual PowerPoint decks), a Monitoring Pack, and improving the natural language query (NLQ) semantic layer Required Experience: 35 years of hands-on experience in BI development and data engineering, with the following skills preferred: Lightdash (or equivalent Tableau, Looker, Power BI) dbt and BigQuery Data modelling and semantic layer development SQL and Python Experience with NLQ / AI-assisted analytics is a plus Note: We specifically need a data engineering background general software engineers without data experience have not worked well for this type of role.
