Position: Modeler 3D Mechanical_Inventor (TT58ST RM 4257) Interview process- online 1st round - technical 2nd round - online tool test ( CAD or Catia Company will inform about the required software ) Department : Engineering / Design Reports To : Design Lead / Engineering Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical 3D Modeler with expertise in Steel industry equipment modeling. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in 3D modeling and quality control. Familiarity with topographical surface modeling and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed 3D models for Mechanical elements of industrial and infrastructure projects using relevant software (e.g., Inventor (iLogic Modelling), AutoCAD and Navisworks etc.). Interpret engineering drawings, design inputs, and specifications to create accurate and constructible models. Perform quality control (QC) checks on models and drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards. Model and manage topographic surfaces and related mechanical equipment (e.g., Conveyors, Gearbox, Crusher etc.). Coordinate with other discipline teams (e.g., Structural, Civil, Piping) to resolve clashes and ensure model integration. Prepare and extract construction drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and deliverables from 3D models. Maintain and implement company and project-specific modeling standards and procedures. Support overall discipline with coordination and clash detection processes, using Navisworks tools. Required Qualifications: DiplomaDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline. Strong expertise in software such as Inventor (iLogic Modelling), AutoCAD and Navisworks, etc. Proficient in understanding and modeling topographical surfaces of Mechanical equipment Solid understanding of Mechanical engineering principles, detailing standards, and constructability. Knowledge of quality control procedures, drawing standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills. Preferred Skills: Exposure to Steel plant projects. Familiarity with local and international codes and standards like IS/DIN/ASME. Problem-solving attitude and proactive in technical issue resolution.
