About the role
sp infracon projects is looking for Signaling & Communication Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Design & Planning Develop and review signaling and communication system designs, schematics, and interface requirements. Prepare technical specifications, method statements, and implementation schedules. Coordinate with civil, track, power, and rolling stock teams for system integration. Installation & Commissioning Supervise and support field installation of signaling equipment (interlockings, signals, point machines, axle counters, etc.) and communication systems (optical fiber networks, telephony, radio systems, PA systems, SCADA). Conduct pre?installation checks, testing, and validation as per project quality plans. Participate in functional testing and final commissioning of systems. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of installed signaling and communication equipment. Diagnose faults, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime. Keep records of maintenance activities and update asset registers. Compliance & Safety Ensure all works comply with railway/metro standards (such as IRS, IEC, EN, or IEEE standards) and local regulatory requirements. Implement and follow safety procedures, including isolation protocols during installation and maintenance. Support audits, inspections, and independent safety assessments. Coordination & Reporting Interface with client representatives, consultants, and contractors for technical discussions and approvals. Prepare and submit progress reports, test reports, and as?built documentation. Support procurement by preparing material specifications and reviewing vendor documents. Civil Engineer Minimum 5 year's Experience in Related Field
