About the role
Job Title: Junior PLC Programming Engineer PLC & Industrial Automation Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years Location: Delhi-NCR Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position Overview We are looking for a skilled PLC Heavy- Programming Engineer with at least 4 years of solid automation and commissioning experience to join our core engineering team in our Delhi Office . In this role, you will leverage your hands-on commissioning expertise to lead in-house system staging, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Heavy- Programming, commissioning, and remote support for field teams. You will ensure that control panels, PLC programs, HMIs, and drive configurations are 100% verified, simulated, and debugged on our site or remotely. Key Responsibilities 1. In-House Testing, Simulation & FAT (Core Focus ~60%) Set up internal test benches, simulation racks, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing for client projects. Perform thorough Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) alongside client representatives inside the Delhi facility. Execute complete pre-commissioning checks : control panel internal wiring verification, loop testing, module mapping, and VFD parameter pre-configuration. Rigorously simulate field signals (I/O simulation, fault conditions, safety interlocks) to prove out code functionality prior to dispatch. 2. PLC / HMI / SCADA Software Development (~25%) Write, modify, and optimize PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal / Allen-Bradley / Schneider / Mitsubishi) based on functional design specifications (FDS). Design and configure HMI screens, SCADA graphics, alarm logging, and historical trending. Establish and test internal communication networks ( Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet/IP ). 3. Remote Field Support & Documentation (~15%) Provide remote technical support (via AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or telephone) to site commissioning engineers or clients during final cutover. Review electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel layouts to ensure design compliance before panel build. Prepare FAT documentation, test reports, operational manuals, and project design dossiers. On site Commissioning. Qualifications & Requirements Must-Have Criteria: Experience: Minimum 4 years of core industrial automation experience with proven expertise in PLC debugging and hardware testing. Location & Availability: Must be based in or ready to commute daily to our Delhi-NCR office . Education: Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering. Technical Skills: High proficiency in Siemens (S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal, WinCC) OR Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000 / ControlLogix). Hands-on ability to wire test-rigs, test VFDs, measure signals with multimeters/oscilloscopes, and troubleshoot control panel circuits directly. Strong mastery over electrical schematics, panel GA drawings, and I/O assignment sheets. Soft Skills: Methodical testing approach, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication skills to coordinate with field teams and clients during remote FATs. Good-to-Have (Added Advantage): Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for drawing markups or minor panel drafting. Experience with industrial software simulation tools (e.g., S7-PLCSIM Advanced, Factory I/O). What We Offer Stationed in Delhi: Predictable office hours with little site travel or outstation stays.
