Databricks Platform Engineer (Infra as a code)

As a Databricks Platform Engineer at Spectral Consultants, you will play a crucial role in building, securing, and scaling enterprise data and AI platforms on Azure. Your responsibilities will include platform automation, governance, security, CI/CD enablement, and ensuring operational excellence across Databricks environments. Key Responsibilities: - Build and manage Databricks infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Implement Unity Catalog governance, RBAC, cluster policies, and security controls. - Develop deployment automation using Databricks Asset Bundles and Azure DevOps. - Manage monitoring, audit logging, compliance controls, and platform operations. - Support MLOps, AI/ML initiatives, and enterprise platform enablement. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Terraform, Unity Catalog, and Azure. - Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Python, and platform automation. - Good understanding of Entra ID, Key Vault, RBAC, networking, and security best practices. - Experience working with large-scale data platforms and governance frameworks. Preferred Skills: - MLOps / GenAI Ops exposure. - Databricks Platform Administrator Certification. - Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences is a plus.
