Data Engineer/Lead Data Engineer - Azure Cloud

Description : Lead Data Engineer (Azure) Role Summary : Lead the technical design and delivery of scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will combine strong hands-on development with technical leadership, guiding a team of engineers to deliver high-quality data architecture. Core Responsibilities : - Architecture & Design : Design secure, cost-efficient data lakes and warehouses using cloud-native Azure services. - Team Leadership : Mentor engineers (team of 5+), conduct code reviews, and oversee technical project delivery. - Development : Build and optimize robust data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL. - Operations : Implement CI/CD pipelines (DevOps), ensure data quality/governance, and maintain technical documentation. Requirements : - Experience : 6+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience, with prior experience leading or mentoring teams. - Azure Stack : Deep expertise in ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and ADLS. - Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/PySpark, Relational & Dimensional Data Modeling, and NoSQL. - Process : Mastery of Git, CI/CD, and Agile project management. Nice to Have : - Azure Data Engineering Certifications. - Experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management, or PowerBI. .
