Manual Quality Assurance Engineer Simba Team Speechify is the world's leading text-to-speech platform, empowering millions of users to consume content faster and more effectively. We are looking for a skilled Manual Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Simba team based out of Mumbai. In this role, you will be a critical part of our product delivery pipeline, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience before they reach our global user base. ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications - Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web) - Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution with development teams - Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers during sprint planning and review cycles in an Agile/Scrum environment - Conduct root cause analysis on identified defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders - Validate API responses using tools like Postman and ensure end-to-end workflow integrity - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices within the Simba team ### Requirements - 38 years of hands-on experience in manual software quality assurance and testing - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC - Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans - Experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android) and web applications - Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured - Working knowledge of bug-tracking and project management tools like JIRA or Confluence - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices - Basic understanding of automation testing concepts is a plus - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills ### What We Offer - Opportunity to work with a fast-growing, mission-driven global tech company - Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives - A collaborative and inclusive work environment with a passionate team - Access to continuous learning resources, mentorship, and career growth opportunities - Flexible working arrangements and a modern office in Mumbai ## Manual Quality Assurance Engineer Simba Team Speechify is the world's leading text-to-speech platform, empowering millions of users to consume content faster and more effectively.
